FAQ

  • What equipment do I need to take part in this course?

All you need is a sturdy chair or table; anything around belly-button height to rest your hand on. This is going to work as your “barre”. Other than that you just need a little bit of space to move around and a can-do attitude.

  • Do I need special Ballet attire or shoes?

Not at all. If you already have soft ballet shoes then great! If not, you can either dance barefoot or with socks on depending on the type of floor you have. Always put your safety first. Any comfortable exercise wear is perfect!

  • I’m not flexible at all, can I still take part in this course?

Of course! A common misconception is that a person needs to be flexible in order to learn Ballet. This is an absolute beginners course so minimum flexibility is required. Remember, it’s Ballet not gymnastics :)
